Shadow Protocol: Resonance Inhibitor

During an internal project at MOOD Visual, I was tasked with a challenging but very enjoyable task: the Resonance Inhibitor.

A key prop for their game concept 'Shadow Protocol,' a tactical co-op horror shooter about containing dimensional threats.

This device helps the player neutralize Void conduits by destabilizing a targeted area on a subatomic level, thus closing the interdimensional gate that allows the Void to manifest in our reality.

The biggest challenge by far was conveying a new, non-existing device with a function that doesn't resemble any military equipment we know. This also meant it could not look like any familiar devices—antennas, radars, optics, etc.

The detail process of the final model was sped up by using parts from my Big Medium Small 3D pack 'ARMOR.'
'ARMOR' is a complete vehicle design 3D kit and was a collaboration between Big Medium Small and me, available now here: https://www.bigmediumsmall.com/armor"
